PAYMENT WORKFLOW

What happens when a customer pays.

A QR scan starts a payment. The invoice is settled only after the payment meets the amount and confirmation requirements.

IN ORDER

From checkout to receipt.

01 · Open checkout

The customer chooses Bitcoin on an eligible invoice. Brislet allocates an address and shows the current BTC quote.

02 · Send Bitcoin

The customer scans the request or copies the address and amount. Their wallet’s network fee must be additional.

03 · Detect the transaction

The checkout reports the received payment. Detection does not mean it is confirmed yet.

04 · Wait for confirmations

Confirmation progress remains visible. Bitcoin block arrival varies; there is no guaranteed completion time.

05 · Update the invoice

Once settlement requirements are met, the integration records the receipt and marks the invoice paid. Repeat notifications must not create a second receipt.
EXCEPTIONS

When the payment differs.

What if the customer sends too little?

The received amount remains tracked. A short payment does not automatically settle the full invoice; it needs completion or merchant review.

What if the customer sends extra or pays late?

The funds reach the receiving wallet. Quote and reconciliation rules determine whether settlement can proceed or review is needed. Contact the merchant before sending again.

Does the QR always fill the amount?

Some wallets import the address and amount; others import only the address. The checkout displays the exact BTC amount for manual entry.
